Horizon AI is an Australian AI implementation business operated by Adam Dong, contactable at contact@horizonai.com.au. We build AI workflows for Australian businesses inside the software they already use.
What this policy covers
This page describes how Horizon AI collects, uses and stores personal information when you visit horizonai.com.au, book a strategy session, send an enquiry, or engage Horizon AI for AI consulting, AI integration or AI implementation services. It is written to align with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Information we collect via the website
When you visit the site, we collect aggregate analytics (page views, referrer hostname, device type, country, anonymised session behaviour) via Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. Clarity records anonymised session replays with sensitive content masked by default. When you submit the discovery-call form or send an enquiry, we collect your name, email, phone (if provided), business name, and the message content.
Information we collect during engagements
During paid engagements, we may receive access to your business systems — CRMs, inboxes, document storage, finance tools, sector platforms — strictly limited to the access required to scope and build the agreed workflow. We do not export or store client data beyond what is required for the agreed work, and we delete or hand back any export data at the end of the engagement unless ongoing maintenance specifically requires it.
AI tooling and third parties
Workflow builds may route content through frontier AI providers including Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (ChatGPT) and Google (Gemini). Each has its own privacy and data-handling terms; we use enterprise-grade plans where available so prompts and content are not used to train the providers' future models. Other third parties commonly involved in service delivery: Hostinger (website hosting), Google Workspace (email and calendar), Microsoft Clarity (analytics), Google Analytics (analytics), formsubmit.co replacement (self-hosted PHP form handler).
How we use information
We use the information collected to respond to enquiries, schedule discovery calls, scope and deliver agreed services, send service-related communication, comply with legal obligations, and improve the website. We do not sell personal information. We do not run advertising retargeting against site visitors. We do not use submitted enquiry data for outbound prospecting.
Data retention
Enquiry and discovery-call records are retained for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Engagement records (contracts, scopes, deliverables) are retained for 7 years to meet Australian record-keeping obligations. Aggregate website analytics are retained for the default Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity windows (14 and 13 months respectively, configurable).
Your rights
You can request access to the personal information we hold about you, request a correction, request deletion, or raise a privacy complaint. Email contact@horizonai.com.au with the request. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Cookies and tracking
The site sets first-party analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) and may set technical cookies required for forms or session continuity. You can decline analytics tracking in your browser settings. Blocking cookies will not affect your ability to use the site.

We update this policy as practices change. The last reviewed date at the top of this page reflects the most recent material update.
